My sweetheart settles for logic,
His ears open only to rationale.
More of our talks turning debates,
Convincing him is about melting an iceberg.
I, oh boy, trust my own heart,
The world that I believe in.
Have seen patience ditch the bravest,
Fear collapse the greatest.
Have seen curses roll into blessings,
Love seep in to d stoniest of hearts.
Known treasures found and lost in a jiffy
Truth break lives, lies build empires.
All once and nothing later,
Logic fails where hope still stands high.
All of us are nature's kiddlings,
Kiddlings to shine and blur away,
Until then, let the hope stay,
Miracles happen every moment of the day.
