Chikka- a wonderful place to be at!

Some places feel like a second home. There is a connect which maybe built even before you have been to the place and when you reach it, you dont feel new to it, you feel at home. You know what wise and learned say, Home is not a place, it's a person.
Let me talk about this place, its Chikka base, A water stream flows from Chikka which takes the shape of a snake. Also rests in this place is a Shiv temple which is naturally formed. What I love about this place is a number of things, the clear water stream which is a sight one can watch for hours, there are wild berries that taste so yummy that I couldn't stop before having a lot of them and there is a tune that the water plays when it flows which transfers you to a different world altogether.
I also share a few sweet, bitter and funny memories at this place. From sitting by the stream and singing our favourite songs to late night ghost stories to making up stories of how the Shiva temple was made and mysteries mouth drafted by us to making new friends and hearing out their life stories to hot soups and campfire, moving ahead for the trek and after 3 days back to this base, everything seems so lively even today.
