Aarushi Talwar: Words and no more!

I remember having given my 7th Grade exams, I was up for a vacation at my grandparents place. The very first morning over there, I got up with a glee smile, happy for the two months waiting ahead. My Grandpa's eyes were glued to the television and I wondered what has caught his attention. Later on I discovered the newsflashes of the Aarushi Talwar case and as long as I remember, it did continue throughout my vacation and even later. I have read Avirook Sen's book - Aarushi, which gives all the details of the case, also I have seen the movie Talwar recently. Some days I gave it a deep thought, some days I completely forgot Aarushi.
Verdict of the court:
The Aarushi Talwar murder case has moved
Rajesh and Nupur Talwar, both dentists, were found guilty of the double murder and destroying evidence by a special court in Ghaziabad, in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh. There is no forensic or material evidence against the Talwars. The judge accepted CBI's argument based on the "last-seen theory" -- which holds that the victims were last seen with the Talwars on the night that the murders were committed.
On the other hand, the CBI lawyer on Aarushi case, RK Saini, stated, "Court said according to the circumstances there is no one else who could commit the crime."
A lot of people have a lot to say in this case. So do I! Here comes my words.
(Disclaimer: Everyone has the basic right of opinion, Freedom to speak. I am not against people who take a stand, I am against those who speak nonsense. Remember folks, To point at someone, you yourself need a clean finger)
I was 13, she was 14
I am alive, she isn't!
They say, her parents killed her.
They said she wasnt raped,
But in an objectionable position.
Aarushi got famous for her death,
A way she wouldn't have asked for.
But the truth stands,
She was raped, she was murdered
By the people around us,
By those we live with, calling it a society,
By those uniformed who vow to guard lives.
Her parents lost everything,
Their daughter and a right to mourn,
They stand in India, a place they loved
Yet jailed for a crime the Indians blurt.
What did we do for Aarushi?
Cry and gossip? So very unfair.
Blame her parents, her affairs?
Believe all with blinds on your eyes?
What I have today is worth celebrating
I have moments, unlike the dead her.
I can love, write and discover more
I can try to stop the unjust,
Or I can live in fear,
Fear of being an another Aarushi.
