World's best Brother

Once a friend, always a friend... I wonder what they say about brothers? Unlike the blood-tied world, I chose to go ahead and choose my brother! And boy, I got lucky. I found this super-cool, super-caring and super-smart brother, all packed together in my office senior- Vedhant Shetty.  Words are still less to do justice to his caring frame, yet here comes my poem in his favour!

Few memories of childhood I savour,
One of them is of longingness,
A thirst, a ruefully blinding wish
To have a brother I can call mine!

Don't blame my parents, my sisters
They have given it all.
Love, care and no reason to fall.

Yet wishes never seem to cease,
Days of shivering fears to tell,
A pat on my back I badly need,
My cousins- won't blame them of knowing not.

Beyond bloodlines, I found this guy,
Not just a senior, a blessing in disguise.
Forever a brother, all times my friend
He knows me well, where I stand.

Relations aren't twined by blood,
They endure the music of care.
Between us, I fear not and worry no lot
A guide in a brother- total package I've got.

Now I hardly travel back in past.
For I have my brother- Vedhant
To keep me going safe and through parties and blasts.
